Progressive Acoustics is delighted to host Italian guitar hero Beppe Gambetta for an evening house concert at The Centre Meeting Schoolhouse in Centerville DE on Sat, Sept 29. Beppe (AKA the “Italian Doc Watson”) is widely regarded as one of the most extraordinary guitarists in the world. He is also widely known and loved for his dedicated and obvious joy in teaching and working with guitar students at all levels. We are honored to be able to host him in this small and intimate setting.
On Sat afternoon Beppe will conduct a small flatpicking workshop from 1:00-3:30 for guitarists interested in learning from this acclaimed musician. In the evening he will perform a concert at 7:30. Tickets are $75 for the workshop and $35 for the evening concert (workshop students are offered a $10 discount for the concert..). Please note that, as always for these events, 100% of the entire proceeds will be turned directly over to the artist… Because this venue is small, seating is limited and likely to quickly sell out.
In addition, Beppe will be staying on into Sunday and will be taking appointments for private lessons with interested guitar students…
This is an unusual opportunity to experience a remarkable artist in a small and comfortable setting. We are located in Centerville DE near Chadds' Ford PA and Longwood Gardens.. It is convenient to Philadelphia, Chester County PA, DE and NJ.
